Unfortunately I do not like this style of art so I am returning the book but there is nothing wrong with the drawings or design. It is mere preference! I tried to include plenty of pictures so that someone else doesn't go through this or I can help someone find their favorite new book!There are a number of stories from The Raven, Annabel Lee and William Wilson, there's plenty more but those are my favorites! The book has a pattern of story, picture, story, picture and that's the way it goes throughout the entirety. All story pages are decorated the same and I rather like them! The images do not go all the way into the binding, they stopped a little bit before like shown in the last photograph. There are oodles of grand room scenes, be it in castles or gorgeously wallpapered homes. Also included are quite a few outdoor scenes. A lot of detail in this and Tiny detail at that. Your typical create space paper and the images of printed single-sided. I hope I helped you
