I have been teaching piano for over 20 years and I think the Bastien method is the absolute best. They know how children learn! And one of the best things about the Bastien empire is that there are so many supplements---Christmas, religious, solos, duets, etc--- available for every interest and at all levels. I highly recommend any and all of the Bastien piano books
